First Aid

Basic Life Support

Semi-Automated External Defibrillator

1AID / BLS / AED

The Law of 17 June 1994 on the Safety and Health of Workers at the Workplace requires companies to train a stipulated number of first aid helpers. Art.L.312-8(4) of the Labor Code obligates the employer to ensure the safety and health of all employees.

  • For a company with an administrative and commercial activity, 5% of the employees must have been given first aid training;
  • For other types of business, this proportion rises to 10%.

The 1AID/BLS/AED course equips you with the knowledge and confidence to effectively administer First Aid. It’s tailored for delegates aspiring to become certified Emergency First Aiders.

This course will teach a wide range of skills in assessing and treating a variety of injuries, illnesses, and medical issues. It also covers the management of heart attack and first aid for cardiac arrest.

We will discusses methods, combined with many practical exercises, used in the first vital moments after a medical emergency. The skills you will have after taking this course will help you to keep the casualty in optimal condition until more advanced medical professionals can take charge.
